El Dorado County is divided into 5 districts and has 5 Supervisors.

What are the boundaries for District I?
District one includes the El Dorado Hills and Cameron Park communities with some exceptions and additions.  You can refer to http://www.co.el-dorado.ca.us/bos/DistrictMap.html  for map of District I.

Are there any term limits for Supervisors?
Supervisors can serve two 4-year terms.

Is Supervisor position a full-time job?
Supervisors are not required to work 40 hours a week but their responsibilities requires them to put more than full time into their jobs.  Like any other public position, it depends on how dedicated your Supervisor representative is to their constituents.  I personally believe that this position is more than a full time job especially in the beginning.

What do Supervisors do?
Supervisors are responsible for their Districts and their constituents.  This includes the safety, roads, traffic and other services that are provided by the County.  The board of Supervisors is responsible for El Dorado County budget, policies and procedures, Charter, contracts and all the services for El Dorado County.
